Beef Ampalaya (Regular Oyster Sauce)
Ingredients
Beef (ground) – 300 g
Ampalaya (sliced, seeds removed) – 400 g
Onion (sliced) – 30 g
Garlic (chopped) – 5 g
Cooking oil – 30 g
Kikkoman Oyster Flavored Sauce – 30 g
Kikkoman Teriyaki Sauce – 10 g
Cornstarch – 5 g
Water – 100 g
Black pepper – pinch
Egg (beaten) – 1 piece
Preparation
Heat cooking oil in a medium sauté pan.
Sauté onions and garlic for about 3 minutes.
Add ground beef and cook for about 5 minutes, or until browned.
Mix cornstarch with water and set aside.
Add oyster sauce and teriyaki sauce to the pan.
Add ampalaya and sauté for about 1 minute, mixing well with the sauce.
Add the cornstarch mixture and bring to a boil.
Cook for 5 minutes, or until the ampalaya is just cooked.
Season with black pepper, then bring to a boil again.
Pour in the beaten egg and cook for about 30 seconds.
Turn off the heat and let the egg set.
Serve hot with steamed rice.
